From August 26–28, TOPFLYtech joined security and technology professionals from across Latin America at ESS+ 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia.

For us, exhibitions are about more than presenting products. They are an opportunity to meet the people working with connected technologies every day, understand the challenges behind their projects, and exchange ideas about how tracking and IoT solutions can work in real-world operations.

ESS+ 2026 gave our LATAM team exactly that opportunity.

Conversations Around Real Tracking Challenges

Throughout the event, our team met with visitors, partners, and industry professionals to discuss a wide range of tracking applications and operational needs.

The conversations went beyond simply asking what a GPS tracker can do. Many were about the practical questions that come before choosing a solution:

How can assets remain visible when they operate across large or remote areas? How can fleets improve operational visibility while keeping deployment manageable? How should tracking devices adapt to different vehicles, assets, environments, and connectivity conditions?

These are the kinds of questions that often determine whether a tracking solution works well beyond the initial deployment.

At our booth, the TOPFLYtech team introduced tracking solutions for applications including fleet management, asset tracking, equipment monitoring, security, and long-term IoT deployments, while exchanging ideas with visitors about their own projects and requirements.

Understanding the Needs of the LATAM Market

Different markets rarely face exactly the same operational challenges.

Connectivity, geography, operating environments, asset types, deployment scale, and local business requirements can all influence how a tracking solution is designed and implemented.

That is why face-to-face conversations remain valuable.

Meeting professionals from Colombia and across Latin America at ESS+ allowed us to hear directly about the projects they are working on and the challenges they encounter in the field. These conversations help us better understand how GPS tracking and IoT technologies are being applied across the region — and where greater flexibility, reliability, and local support can make a difference.

For TOPFLYtech, supporting LATAM is not simply about bringing products into the region. It is also about building a closer connection between our technology, our regional team, and the people deploying it.

The People Behind Every Conversation

Technology may bring us to an exhibition, but people make the experience meaningful.

A special thanks goes to our LATAM team members Gabriel Galdino, Kinfay Holguin, and Tomás Nie who represented TOPFLYtech at ESS+ 2026 and spent the event meeting visitors, discussing applications, and helping turn technical questions into practical conversations.

With regional sales and FAE support working closely with customers and partners, our goal is to better connect product capabilities with the realities of local projects.

Their technical knowledge, market experience, and understanding of local needs are an important part of how TOPFLYtech continues to support customers and partners throughout Latin America.

Building Connections Beyond the Booth

ESS+ was also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the wider security and technology community.

We appreciated the opportunity to meet representatives from the event, reconnect with existing contacts, and establish new connections during our time in Bogotá.

For a global IoT company, these relationships matter. Products can travel around the world, but strong partnerships are built through continued communication, local understanding, and trust.
